The technique is basically the same as what you are learning here except for the difference in foot maneuverability while airborne.
The flip or the flick
When you launch up into the air, slide the side of your front foot up toward the edge of the nose of the board , and flick the nose of your skateboard with your front foot.
The motion works like this :
Kick your foot out toward the heel side of your skateboard, using the top of toes to flick the board.
The motion of your foot should be out, and a little down.Try to get the motion to be as smooth as possible
The nose
You want to hit the top corner of the nose .
Don't hit it down , it's more of a forward outward slide , you don't have to put great pressure , just a nice flick
Lift them knee's
After flipping the board with your front foot,
Like the ollie you will want to lift your feet as high as you can so the board can rotate
Tips
Stay level - While the skateboard is flipping underneath you,
Catch the deck - Once the deck has done a full revolution,
Use your back foot to catch it. So pay attention during the flip and time when to catch it , this can be tricky so be patient keep practicing.
Once you catch the skateboard with your back foot, you can place your front foot on the skateboard so you can roll away and get ready for your next trick.
Landing and rolling away
Next, as you land, bend your knees again to absorb the impact.
Bending your knee's also helps you stay in control of your board
Then just roll away.
